Luigi Bartolini was one of the most sensitive and original engravers of the twentieth century, a true master of etching, a technique that he himself defined “very terrible thing”. During his career Bartolini expressed himself both with the language of graphic art and literature and poetry, and in this print he used both, “capturing” the image of a little fairy among the lines of the Epigraph poem.
